Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our Incident Response Team as a part-time remote employee. Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business clients to conduct needs analysis related to systems and business processes to create quality technical solutions
- Ensure solutions are aligned with internal tooling, business procedures, and comply with departmental standards
- Manage timelines for planning, coding, testing, and implementing to ensure solutions are delivered on time and within budget
- Act as a resource to ensure effective communications among business and Technology Teams
- Participate in systems and acceptance testing
- Scope of work varies depending on the Team assignment
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required
- Basic knowledge of data security and risk mitigation principles, theories, and practices preferred
- Experience or exposure to Proofpoint PhishAlarm preferred
- Experience or knowledge of ServiceNow Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) preferred
- Basic understanding of business analysis, process modeling, and optimization preferred
- Major understanding of project management methodologies, including the ability to plan, manage, and maintain a complex, organization-wide program preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with all levels within the organization, including both technical and non-technical resources preferred
- Basic knowledge of technical environment required
- Exposure to Agile philosophies preferred
- Coursework or experience related to Cybersecurity preferred
- Ability to remain organized and manage multiple and simultaneous tasks under tight deadlines
- Past investigator internship experience within the past year preferred
- Experience solving business problems in a capstone or case competition preferred
