Department Summary

The UNT Dallas Learning Commons offers tutorial assistance in writing and STEM to students who need supplemental academic support. The Graduate Consultant serves as an important team member in the Learning Commons. He/she works under the supervision of the administrative staff and works closely with the other Writing Consultants to tutor students on a daily basis. Tutoring sessions occur as both face-to-face and online consultations. The Graduate Consultant also performs some clerical work and assists the professional staff with resource development and other special projects.
