This full time, permanent Mechanical Design Engineer - Extrusion & Co-Extrusion Tooling is at a growing, very flexible, employee- friendly, ISO certified manufacturer of plastic extrusion products. The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

• Creating plastic extrusion tooling designs for profile extrusion, co-extrusion and tri-extrusion
• Directing the designing, building, modifying, installing and maintaining efforts
• Assisting machine operators and machinists
• Adjusting the extrusion tooling
• Working with the manufacturing team to troubleshoot and improve production processes

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

• 3+ years of plastic extrusion tooling design experience for profile extrusion, co-extrusion and tri-extrusion
• 3+ years of strong extrusion processing experience
• Strong extrusion processing knowledge
• A solid work history
• A US citizen or possess a green card
• A residence within 45 minutes

Expected salary: $85000 per year
