The Opportunity

We're committed to bringing passion and energy to Colorado School of Mines. The function of the Parking and Transportation Operator is to perform services essential to parking management, customer transport (pick-up and delivery) on campus and within the city of Golden, parking enforcement, customer service, vehicle traffic control and other duties necessary in support of the Parking and Transportation's overall mission. This position requires strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to navigate different situations and/or conflicts that might arise.

Responsibilities

CUSTOMER TRANSPORT VEHICLE/EQUIPMENT SERVICEABILITY

Test vehicle equipment, such as lights, brakes, horns, or windshield wipers, to ensure proper operation, and filling out daily inspection reports. PARKING ENFORCEMENT VIA PATROL

Using License Plate Recognition equipment, this position review vehicles parked on campus for fee compliance. PARKING OFFICE SUPPORT Pay Range

$19.23 - $22.40 per hour
