About the position
The Sr. Analyst, Corporate Finance & Strategy, plays a critical role in driving enterprise value through complex modeling, forecasting, and reporting as well as ad hoc analysis on key business initiatives for Coinstar. This role couples excellent attention to detail with demonstrated problem solving, strategic and analytical skills to ensure enterprise-level success.
Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain financial analyses and models to optimize business performance

Develop and improve existing operational tools and KPI reporting to link financial plans to operational goals

Provide research and analysis to guide capital planning process and new business development

Participate in cross-functional teams and build relationships with key internal clients and business partners to influence decision making company-wide, with initial focus on Operations

Amplify efficiency by simplifying reporting and modeling
Requirements

5+ years of finance or analytics experience; preferably in a consulting or corporate environment

Experience in consumer products, retail, or financial services is a plus

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field
Nice-to-haves

Strong Excel skills including building financial and sensitivity models, pivot tables, and other advanced functions as well as a variety of charts and graphs to represent analytical results

Experience with data mining and visualization tools such as Tableau; SQL experience a plus

Adept at learning new software and analysis methods

Comfort with managing very large data sets and performing analysis to distill and draw out insights
