Job Overview
As a Senior Business Transformation Customer Insights Professional, you'll be responsible for leading complex research studies, analyzing data, and distilling insights that drive business decisions. Your expertise will help us navigate the evolving landscape of our industries and stay ahead of the curve. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify customer needs, develop targeted solutions, and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead statistical research studies of the highest complexity for use by the Business Transformation team and partners throughout the enterprise, including primary, secondary, quantitative, and qualitative research.
- Identify, solicit, and manage relationships with external market research and competitive intelligence vendors, consultants, and suppliers.
- Provide data interpretation advice and insight generation to decision makers, driving business decisions with data-driven insights.
- Use market research to define Deere's SaaS customer segments in partnership with product teams, ensuring a deep understanding of customer needs.
- Collect necessary information to forecast customer demand elasticity for new-to-the-world products, enabling informed product development and launch strategies.
- Provide continuous coaching and support (in some cases lead) strategic market research efforts across the Business Transformation Ecosystem and own the planning and execution for the Business Transformation Customer Insights workstream.
Essential Qualifications
- 5 or more years of market research experience for technology-driven, recurring revenue products, with a proven track record of delivering high-impact insights.
- Experience leading market research efforts to inform the launch of a new-to-the-world product or service, with a deep understanding of the product development process.
- Led pricing studies for technology-driven, recurring revenue products, with expertise in data analysis and interpretation.
- Ability to use statistical analysis & principles to make recommendations from data, with a strong analytical mindset.
- Excellent communication, documentation, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with proven ability to take initiative to build strong and productive relationships and communicate clearly to audiences of all levels.
- Ability to travel up to 25% of the time, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs.

- Industry experience in agriculture, construction, robotics, automation, or autonomy, with a deep understanding of the industry landscape.
