Job Title: Certified School Nurse

Position Overview:
Our elementary school in Orange, NJ is seeking a dedicated and licensed Certified School Nurses to join our elementary school team for the 2025–2026 academic year. These full-time, onsite positions play a vital role in supporting the health, safety, and well-being of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide daily health services and first aid to students and staff.
• Manage student health records and ensure compliance with immunization and health screening requirements.
• Administer medications and develop care plans for students with chronic health conditions.
• Collaborate with school staff, families, and community providers to support student wellness.
• Promote a healthy school environment through health education and prevention initiatives.
• Respond to health emergencies and participate in crisis response planning.
Qualifications:
• Active NJ Registered Nurse (RN) License
• Current NJ School Nurse Certification – REQUIRED
• Previous school-based nursing experience is required
• Strong communication, organizational, and assessment skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with school teams

• Skilled in managing a broad range of health concerns in a school setting
• Familiar with health regulations and requirements in New Jersey schools
